About Dr Matthew

Dr Matthew Khalil has been part of White & Bright Family Dental since 2021 and enjoys building lasting relationships with patients and their families.

He graduated from James Cook University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery and has undertaken additional postgraduate training in orthodontics, with a particular interest in clear aligner treatment.

His clinical interests include cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, orthodontics and complex treatment planning. He enjoys working through the options carefully, balancing function, appearance and each patient’s goals.

He believes appointments should be as comfortable and relaxed as possible, especially if you feel nervous about the dentist. He takes the time to listen, explain your options and answer your questions, so you feel informed and confident before any treatment.

What he enjoys most is seeing the difference treatment can make to someone’s confidence and quality of life, and the relationships that grow from looking after patients over many years.

Outside dentistry, he enjoys time with family and friends, travelling and keeping active.
