Is the check-up and clean really no gap?

What does a check-up cost without a preferred fund?
$199 for a comprehensive check-up and clean without X-rays, $249 with bitewing X-rays, or $299 with a panoramic X-ray, before your health fund claim. X-rays are taken where clinically indicated.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Afterpay, Zip Pay and DentiCare, subject to each provider’s approval and terms. Payment options
Appointments
Are you taking new patients?
Yes, at both clinics, from Moorebank, Prestons and the suburbs around them.
How do I book?
Book online any time, or call the clinic. You can ask for a dentist by name, or take the first available.
What are your opening hours?
Moorebank: Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm, Saturday 9am to 2:45pm. Prestons: Monday to Friday 9am to 6:30pm, Saturday 9am to 2:45pm. Both clinics are closed on Sundays.
Which clinic should I choose?
Whichever is closer. Dr Kay La, Dr Mark Henin and Dr Matthew Khalil work at both. Dr Amgad Sous, our principal dentist, is at Moorebank, where same-day CEREC crowns are made, and Dr Sandy Ghattas, who has a particular interest in orthodontics and clear aligners, is at Prestons.
Do you take emergency appointments?
Yes. We prioritise dental pain and urgent cases throughout the day, so call us straight away. After hours, help may be available depending on Dr Amgad’s availability: call the clinic and your call may be redirected to him.
Your visit
What happens at my first visit?
We take a full dental history, examine your teeth and gums, take X-rays if you need them, clean your teeth and talk you through anything we find. Please arrive 10 minutes early to fill in your forms.
Do you see children?
Yes. We look after kids with check-ups, cleans and fluoride, using simple explanations and a gentle pace, and we bulk bill eligible children under the Child Dental Benefits Schedule.
I’m anxious about the dentist. Can you help?
Tell us when you book. We take the time to explain each step before we start.
Can a crown be done in one visit?
At our Moorebank clinic it may be possible in suitable cases. The tooth is prepared and scanned, the crown is milled in the practice and fitted about 1 to 2 hours later. You can wait or come back.
